If your Autel tool's software subscription needs to be renewed, there are 2 expensive ways ways to do it and one cheaper way to do it: 

1) You can purchase the software subscription from Autel online on Autel's website.

2) You can purchase the software subscription from Autel directly on your tool.

3) You can purchase a Autel Total Care Program TCP Card online and enter the activation code from your card into the renewal screen on your tool.

The 3rd option is usually much, much cheaper than buying the software subscription form Autel. Although Autel runs 2 annual sales on their software subscriptions, one around Black Friday and one in the summer, you still see significant savings by buying the TCP card. Some TCP card sellers will send you the card activation code by email so you don't need to wait a few days for the card to arrive to get your tool up and running.

In addition to updating your software, the Autel Total Care Program also renews your hardware warranty for an additional year.

One thing to keep in mind: A few sellers based in China are selling very cheap TCP cards which aren't made for the US market and can cause functionality issues with your tool. Make sure you buy the TCP card from a USA based supplier.
